This field trip is a hands-on training opportunity to see compliance and monitoring in action and a chance to explore Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington Harbour). Thanks to CentrePort Wellington and event hosts, Greater Wellington Regional Council
 
Delegates will depart Te Papa, stops will include the following:
 

  • New Ferry terminal project

  • Ngauranga to Petone shared pathway

  • Petone foreshore

  • A coffee stop at Compass Coffee, at Seaview Marina, Petone

  • Seaview view wharf project, where the wharf rebuild is taking place

  • Tupua Horo Nuku shared pathway

  • Penguin issues discussed

  • Shared pathway project, resilience projects
     

Speakers on the trip will include council and project representatives.

-    GWC will provide hard hats and high vis vests. 
-    Field trip attendees need to please bring PPE shoes.
