This presentation will explore the challenge that permitted activity monitoring presents for CME practitioners working across the country and looks ahead to what permitted activities and CME may look like under RM Reform for local authorities at the coalface. The presentation will outline some of the key aspects to be considered for successful implementation of the new system in terms of both operational support needed for local authorities and education of the community.

With fifteen years’ experience working in local government in both New Zealand and the UK Amanda has operated at the coalface of resource management. She offers a unique perspective by bringing together planning policy, resource consents and compliance experience to offer a comprehensive understanding of resource management. Amanda works predominantly with public sector clients to develop holistic approaches to complex resource management issues.
