Logan K. Williams is one of New Zealand’s foremost inventors, and businessmen – dedicated to championing sustainable business. To date, Logan has invented polarized contact lenses as a preventative treatment for photosensitive epilepsy – which he sold to Acuvue a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson.
Logan is also credited with inventing the novel method to synthesize paper, bioplastic, and fabric from the pest algae Didymosphenia Geminata (Rock Snot). Over the past year, Logan has operated in Fonterra’s Head Research & Development Centre, where he has led his own multimillion dollar projects/inventions dedicated to sustainable agriculture.
